through the looking glass it came
fraught with indignation's of sight
yet blinded by falsity

from the stars the sky took shape

hexagons sang a sonnet
drums melted in reverence
although a trick passed though

feathers wisps across
shivers cascaded along in comradery
which may have been the shallow see

Ocean View

Have you ever sat and just watched the motion of water? Have you ever just watched it flow? Whether it is dripping out of a tap, gurgling from a mountain stream, whispering in a pond, cascading from the sky,  or rolling along ocean waves it is in constant motion and wherever it is, it is. No judgement, no reservations. It just is.
When asked about how I view life, I have found I have no other better explanation than it is constant movement in a neutral, non judgemental state of Oneness....like water.
We are all part of the same ocean, but each drop of water has it's own journey. The drops of water circulating in the depths are not looked down upon by the drops rising to the clouds to be released elsewhere.
Whether a drop of water spends lifetimes being released into the forests or becomes part of the nourishment for a plant, tree, or animal it is no more than a drop of water, but still no less a part of the ocean. If it is 'contaminated' and spends a time traveling the depths of purification, it is still part of the ocean. Should it be locked up in a block of ice for eons, it is still the ocean.
Perfect in whatever state it is in, where ever it may be regardless of time. It is still part of the SAME OCEAN.
Our own soul journey is our own. We continually send that information to our 'ocean'. And no matter where we are there should be no judgement. It is not my place or yours to tell someone HOW they should live or be. We should only advise when asked and leave the rest to them because their path may require them to experience something else.
We are individual drops of the ocean of life to which we will all eventually return regardless if we spend an eternity being contaminated by the forces on the shore or merely sail into the clouds to spend a moment before returning to the rolling waves.
Either way it doesn't matter, it's the experience, OUR experience that matters, because we will all eventually be back in the awareness of ONE.

Unity does not mean Uniformity

You see the community that lives inside you
Those beautiful cells are not the same
They don't care what your name is, what you do for a living or what colour you paint your toes
They do not concern themselves with the Who, What, Whens and Wheres
They each have their own strengths and functions
They do not worry about being a skin cell when they are a liver cell
They are working towards a commonality
They have a vision of a most wondrous picture
The most amazing sight you will ever see!

It is time today to look at the person beside you and understand that they too have a story like you. That they too have perhaps done things in their past, like you, that they wish they didn't. That they too are trying to adjust to a shift that they may or may not understand in their conscious mind. It is time to see them for the beings that they are. Like you they are here for the experience, to grow and remember...Like you they are perfect. It is not your place to judge, but to instead accept that they are on their own path and that in the end you will all find your way. Love will get you there. Understanding will get you there. Patience and allowance will get you there. Your job, as with ours, is to merely allow all that is to do what it is meant to do. Just open your heart space and be. everything is as it should. Trust, allow, and love. Simple

Literally..........a way of thinking

I think Coyotes are interesting creatures. Most people view them as pests, but I see them as a creature that is adaptive and full of paradox. This one has shown up quite abit at my place and every I see him he makes me smile. I usually find him bouncing about on a snow drift, or letting my dogs chase him a bit so he can turn around and follow them back up the driveway.This fascinating creature also invokes a sense of mystery to me. I often find myself wondering where the rest of the pack is, what does he manage to eat to stay so healthy looking?, but mostly I ask what is it that he is trying to tell me.

The last little while has been nothing short of amazing. The messages, flow, and the general feel good feeling and yet there is something else. I have found I am almost obsessive about wholeness and what it means. When it comes to people, I often find myself disappointed that in this day and age we are still viewing and reacting at a primal level. By that I mean that we often don't think past the immediate when it comes to the environment or past the surface when it comes to people. I have been gaining some razzing for how I think. "Ruby don't you think you're being just a little too literal it isn't going to make THAT much of a difference"
Well perhaps not.....or perhaps these vibes will grow and spread!  I am an Aquarian so obviously it is exactly what I am hoping for! Let's push the bar! Let me take you on a wee tour of how MY thinking works....

Take the environment. Sure we say we recycle and all that jazz, but what if we took it a step further? What if instead of buying that dozen eggs stuffed in a plastic or Styrofoam carton we bought them in the cardboard carton? Why? It would eliminate the recycling depot because the shells and the carton work wonders in the ol' compost pile which then is used to grow our veggies without the aid of chemical fertilizers, which eliminates a trip to town to buy them AND saves our health AND our pocket book AND our carbon footprint AND our Earth.

What if we took a look at people and quit judging them over hear-say and all that, and took the time to toss judgement to the curb and get to know them or at the very least understand that THEIR choices are exactly that ......THIERS. And we don't have to agree, accept or otherwise, but KNOW that they have a UNIVERSAL right to engage in THEIR own life EXPERIENCE just like us. AND what makes us think we are more than the next when  WE ARE ALL PERFECT...WE ARE ALL GOD... because...and say it with me...... WE ARE ALL ONE!

Now maybe I am completely off the mark and perhaps I have rose coloured glasses, but frankly.....I love these glasses! It allows me to see past this still picture and see that yes this coyote is obviously on the move and yes he seems almost aloof and blends in to his environment, but past that he's AWARE, CONNECTED, and IS MOVING TO HIS OWN INNER SPIRIT!

 I can guarantee you, the animals that come here come because as a connected being,(because we are ALL CONNECTED) I listen and have provided for them what I would want to be provided with. A clean environment, with an endless food supply that grows with the natural rhythm of the earth, and a being that accepts me for what I AM. I may not be right, but I am not looking to BE right....I am merely asking that you consider taking a closer look and a closer listen......you may be pleasantly surprised to RE-find YOUR "forgotten" piece of the puzzle.....

Just when you may think everything is desolate and foreboding like a frozen terrain in throws of winter you may think that nothing is as it seems
Just remember, under that expanse of winter wonder lays a world teaming with life merely awaiting the thawing warmth of the sun
Kind of like us...quietly gathering under the cover of sleep waiting for that light to come forth and shine through!
